ASJ's current efforts focus on collecting money to pay school (...) fees and uniform costs for children in Nkamazi ("Project Learn").
"I've Got to Get Out of Here" (April-December 2017): This project focused on assisting people living with or at high risk of HIV/AIDS who are living in poverty to access the basic necessities of life: food, housing and transportation. In particular, the project focused on helping people to overcome the barriers in obtaining permanent housing and to build foundations on which to move forward in their lives. The project was funded by the ViiV Healthcare Positive Action Canada Innovation Program. Working with other community agencies to install needle disposal boxes on streets. Began in early 2018.
