Our activities put art into the hands of community members through classes held on-site and in the community, exhibitions of established and emerging artists (10 gallery shows / year including 2 juried shows), art engagement in public spaces(ie. Park Party, Sharing Dance) and participation in local, regional and national art initiatives(ie. Contact Photography Festival, National Film Day).
With new programs, we look to create and increase connections. Working with malls, churches, local BIA's, schools and other organizationns/groups creates new avenies for people to understand art and its impact on both large and small scale. Includedin this are projects such as Cultural Hotspot, Listen Up!, Myseum Festival, Cloverdale Holoday Party. We also do programs such as Pure Data and Professional development for Artists to build individuals' capabilities by combining artistic skills withemployable skills.
