Abbotsford Community Services provides services to the community in the following areas: - Counseling for youth and family, addictions and sexual abuse; - Support to victims of domestic violence; - Legal aid and advocacy for those on limited income, food bank; - Support to high risk pregnant women, teen moms finishing their education, families of children 0-6; - Meals on wheels, support to seniors in completing forms, staying home by providing landscaping and house cleaning services, finding resources in the community, transportation, seniors assessing information & services for immigrant seniors; - Support services for new immigrants, settlement counseling, ESLA, welcoming & inclusive communities, legal services outreach, interfaith bridging; - Environmental education and recycling; - Group home for high risk youth, outreach services to youth, music & art therapy; - Abbotsford Works provide employment services to Abbotsford area; - Take off-India to Canada-is a pro-active intervention that will assist new immigrants to be engaged, productive members of Canadian society prior to arriving in Canada...
