Applegrove is a neighbourhood partnership fostering community through social & informative programs for individuals and families. Applegrove operates the following: 1) after-school activities for children ages 6 to 12; 2) family support programs for parents/caregivers and their children up to age 6 to learn, socialize & play together in a safe & supportive environment; 3) summer day programs for children ages 6 to 12 & 13 to 15; 4) Elderly Persons Centre with workshops, programs & activities for adults aged 55 & older; 5) perinatal program for pregnant women, continuing until their babies are 6 months old; 6) therapeutic play intervention for children ages 3 to 5 who are experiencing difficulties on their lives; 7) evening drop-in activities for teens throughout the school year; 8) community development, including special events & volunteer activities.
