The Animal Assistance Group (TAAG) assists people who are unable to afford veterinary expenses to have their pets spayed/neutered or other medical emergencies. TAAG also transports the animals to and from the vet's for those who are unable to do so. TAAG now houses as well as places some of the animals in foster care until they can be found good homes. TAAG has added a Spay/Neuter and Release Program for feral cats to reduce the over population of homeless domestic animals in our community. TAAG revenues are obtained through fundraisers such as: raffles, garage/yard sales, bake sales, silent auctions, Santa/Easter Pictures, Dinner/Dance benefits, and donations etc. TAAG expenses are: veterinary, pet food/litter, gas, bridge tickets, raffle license, raffle tickets, raffle prizes, advertising, hall rental, utilities, phone, internet, office supplies and bank fees.
