WHAT WE DO:
The Rhythm of Life Society is a registered charity organization based in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Our vision is a world in which the transformative power of music and fitness elevates the health of all peoples. And our mission is to mitigate society’s epidemic of isolation and loneliness by bringing drum circles and fitness events to our communities.

Our initial pilot project, titled the Drum Run Adventure Tour, was a 2.5 month fundraising campaign throughout B.C. held in partnership with the BC Children's Hospital Foundation (BCCHF). Drum Run launched on September 10th, 2023, where our society's founder Lyle Povah, facilitated community drum circles in over 20 cities along the route of his epic 1500 km run to raise funds for BCCHF. That fundraiser ended with a fantastic finale in November 2023 [you can watch the video below].

Now moving into our next phase, the Rhythm of Life Society is focusing on supporting community wellness locally, with drum circles for anyone and everyone to participate within the Metro Vancouver area.
