Q Impact connects, resources, and funds a global network of queer-led and queer-serving organizations advancing safety, rights, and justice—especially in communities facing rising threats.
The Challenge: Rising Threats to Queer Safety
Across the globe, queer communities face escalating threats to their safety, rights, and dignity. Rising hate crimes, democratic erosion , and anti-social behaviour are creating an environment of fear and injustice, while government and corporate funding is increasingly politicized.
Despite courageous efforts of local organizations and activists, the movement is fragmented, and sector inefficiencies—combined with fear of visibility—limit the sharing of knowledge, resources, and safety strategies when they’re needed most.
The Opportunity: Unlock Collective Power
Across the globe, resilient queer-led spaces, mutual-aid groups, and grassroots organizations are quietly driving progress. By connecting and resourcing these local efforts, we can dramatically amplify their collective impact and build a stronger, safer global ecosystem for queer people.
Our Solution
To strengthen both local and global movements, Q Impact directs funding across three pillars:
•Find & Fund Frontline Leaders: Support high-impact grassroots organizations and activists working with minimal resources and significant personal risk.
•Resource Rapid Response to Defend Queer Rights: Fund critical work in human rights, public safety, legal support, health services, and community building—helping organizations survive political headwinds and grow sustainable, long-term impact.
•Connect a Global Support Network: Build a peer-supported global community where organizations can share knowledge, data, and safety strategies across borders.
