Information about ICChange

Innovative Canadians for Change (ICChange) is an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and security of vulnerable populations worldwide. Differentiating ourselves as a non-profit organization that is unique and cutting-edge, we utilize the principles and operating structure of a social enterprise. Our vision at ICChange redefines the conventional notions of development, charity and aide by crowd sourcing and curating global talent to develop solutions, models and technologies which address local and international development issues.

Our flagship program was the Kenya Ceramic Project (KCP)/CeraMaji. It focuses on water and sanitation efforts by developing point-of-use ceramic based water filters with organic materials sourced locally in Kenya. We are seeking financial support to develop a new factory in Nairobi and expand our distribution networks as a means of providing clean drinking water to vulnerable populations in urban and rural communities. ICChange’s vision is to create locally managed operations in Kenya that produces sustainable, effective, and affordable water filters to communities in need.
